Ickleford Neighbourhood Plan Referendum – 14th March
North Herts Council has scheduled a referendum on the Ickleford Neighbourhood Plan for 14th March. You should have received your polling card in the post.
- What is the Ickleford Neighbourhood Plan?
The Plan is a series of planning policies created to give residents more input into local planning decisions.
It includes detailed design codes for any new development and has policies reflecting residents’ priorities on the environment and community facilities. The policies and more details on the project can be viewed at www.icklefordnp.com.
There will be a drop-in information session from 10am to midday on Saturday 9th March at St Katharine’s Church New Room to view paper copies of the Plan and ask questions.
- Why vote on the plan?
The referendum allows residents to choose whether to accept or reject the Plan. The outcome will be determined by a simple majority of votes.
So have your say and remember to bring your voter ID on the 14th!
