Luton Airport Expansion Meeting – message from County Cllr Barnard

The proposal by Luton Airport to expand up to 32 million passengers per annum was the subject of a meeting between the Government’s Officers and the public, registered speakers.

Obviously, most affected people were unable to attend and give opinions and evidence.

I am delighted to announce that Andrew Lambourn of LADACAN has agreed to come to the next meeting of Southern Rural Forum of North Herts Council to report to us on the meeting, opinions and mood of the meeting. Additionally, what happens next?

This is a public meeting, as informal as can be, and will be held at

Breachwood Green Village Hall at 7.30pm on 21st September 2023.

This your opportunity to get up to date with this application.

Please consider coming along. You are very welcome.

Councillor David Barnard
Chairman of the Southern Rural Forum
