Rands Educational Foundation Grants
To all students aged 16-24
Don’t forget to apply for a grant from Rand’s Educational Foundation for the academic year 2023/2024.
Grants are available for all young people residing in Ickleford, Holwell, Pirton and Stondon who are in full time education, either at sixth form or higher education college or University.

2. New for September: Hertfordshire Health Walks Timetables
Walking is the simplest way to get active and improve your fitness. It can be enjoyed all-year round and you can continue to walk with us as we move toward the latter part of the year.
Hertfordshire Health Walks has recently released its autumn timetables for FREE walks starting from September through to December. There are some new walks to look out for and many continuing from the summer so have a look to see where you might go for a walk next with our friendly volunteers.
Our short First Steps Walks are ideal for people who haven’t walked in a while, who are returning from illness or who find they can’t walk as far as they used too. The full list of walks is available online: NEW Autumn Health Walk Timetables (Sept to Dec 2023)
There is no need to book. Simply turn up on the day and if it’s your first walk we ask that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the walk to complete a New Walker Form. If you prefer, you can Register online
