Work will begin on Monday May 15th to replace the old bark surface and wooden edging with new safety surfacing at the play area at the recreation ground. There will be machinery and contractors’ vehicles using the play area / burial ground car park.
For safety reasons, the play area will unfortunately be closed during this period, estimated to be two weeks. However once it reopens, the surface will be safer, smoother, cleaner and more aesthetically-pleasing.
