Neighbourhood Plan consultation – extension
The public consultation period has been extended until Wednesday 16th November.
The Local Plan, with its large housing allocations for Ickleford, is due to be adopted this week by North Herts Council, which has requested an extension to the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group’s consultation so that feedback from NHDC on the NP can align with the finalised Local Plan.
Please visit www.icklefordnp.com to find out more about the Neighbourhood Plan’s aim to protect the parish in the face of extensive development, and to leave your feedback.
Apart from any other issues. The main Bedford road is too busy, and when there is an accident nearer to Hitchin the queues can stretch from Hitchin to Henlow .The residents at the Bedford road and Westmill lane ,Ryder Avenue and Ryder Way always seem to be forgotten about .The main concerns are always Turnpike Lane and Arlesey Road

I have a vested interest in a field on the Bedford road by the school.
It is in Hitchin not the parish.
For myself I believe that the land that I own in Ickleford which is beautiful and will never be built on except to benefit the village as in a new village hall or other community structure as and when the village feel it appropriate to do so.
