Notice is hereby given that a meeting of Ickleford Parish Council’s Staffing Committee will take place on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 2.30pm to be held at the New Room at St Katharine’s Church for the purpose of transacting the business set out in the agenda below and members of the Committee are hereby summoned to attend this meeting. 1.1 To receive and approve apologies for absence.
2 Chairman’s Notice
2.1 To announce notice on openness and transparency at this meeting.
3 Declaration of Interests
3.1 To receive declarations of interest from councillors relating to items on the agenda.
3.2 To receive written requests for dispensation for declarable interests.
3.3 To grant any requests for dispensation as appropriate.
4 Minutes of the Last Meeting
4.1 To approve as a correct record and to sign the minutes of the meeting held on 3rd April 2024 and to sign the approved minutes from the meeting held on 4th March 2024.
5 Public Participation Session
Members of the press and public have the opportunity to have an open discussion with the Parish Council
6 New Matters
6.1 To resolve that under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 the public and press should be excluded from items 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 of this agenda in view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
6.2 To approve the appraisal action plan.
6.3 To approve dates and procedures for stages 6 – 9 of the Clerk’s annual appraisal.
6.4 To carry out the Clerk’s pay review based on the appraisal.

7.1 To suggest agenda items and date for the next Staffing Committee meeting.
