Notice is hereby given that the monthly meeting of Ickleford Parish Council will take place on Thursday 7th November 2024 at 7pm to be held at Ickleford Village Hall for the purpose of transacting the business set out in the agenda below and members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend this meeting. Members of the press and public are invited to attend. A Councillor will be available between 6.45pm and 7pm to discuss any matter relating to the parish.

8.8 To resolve to store the damaged Lower Green map board until spring 2025 for renovation.
9 New Matters
9.1 To receive an update from the working party regarding the Christmas tree lighting event as agreed:
– Quotes for tree lights if required
– Details of food suppliers
– Plans for music for the event
– Posters and advertising arranged
– Gazebos and marquees to be put up
– Risk assessment supplied by the Clerk to be signed by Councillors
and approve any actions.
9.2 To discuss the VE Day 80th anniversary official commemorations for 8th May 2025 and approve any actions.
9.3 To discuss the option of replacing trees that have had to be removed from Parish Council land and approve any actions
9.4 To provide an update on the meeting with the Flood Risk and Adaptation operations manager from HCC
9.5 To resolve to request a report from HCC Bridges and Structures regarding the pallets on HCC 0377
9.6 To resolve to provide a full council response to the Remote Meetings and Proxy Voting consultation as well as individual responses
9.7 To discuss the NHC Waste and Recycling plan for the removal of litter bins in the village and approve any actions
9.8 To resolve to advertise the casual vacancy on Ickleford Parish Council
