Dear Residents,
We have been notified by the Headteacher this morning that Ickleford Primary School, Hitchin, is closed today (6 January 2026) following a break-in that occurred overnight.
The police are aware and are on site this morning. The school’s insurance team has also been contacted.
We will provide a further update if the school is unable to reopen tomorrow.
