As many of you have been asking questions about the proposed development that is about to affect our village, the Parish Council has organised a public meeting to discuss our next steps and how we can respond effectively.

We strongly encourage all residents to attend. We will be joined by our District Councillor, Louise Peace, who is very supportive of the Parish Council’s position.
The more objections we raise, the stronger our case will be in challenging this planning application. While some may feel that the outcome is already decided, it is vital that we make our voices heard. If we do not stand together against inappropriate developments now and in the future, Ickleford risks losing its village identity and becoming absorbed into the expanding borders of Hitchin.
Let’s work together to protect our village.
