Notice is hereby given that the monthly meeting of Ickleford Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 8th January 2025 at 7pm to be held at Ickleford Village Hall for the purpose of transacting the business set out in the agenda below and members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend this meeting. Members of the press and public are invited to attend. A Councillor will be available between 6.45pm and 7pm to discuss any matter relating to the parish.

8.1 To receive updates on the RHCG and maintenance of the natural river environment.
8.2 To provide feedback on the meeting with Foreman Laws about the ISRC and:-
8.2.1 To resolve to renew and update the underlease at a cost of £1500-£2000 + VAT
8.2.2 To resolve to fund the retrospective survey and works to the foundations on behalf of the ISRC
8.2.3 To approve the cost of £1500 + VAT + disbursements for the retrospective licence in respect of the lift installation
8.2.4 To approve interim invoice from Foreman Law solicitors for £ £987 plus VAT and disbursements in respect of all work completed so far with regard to the lift installation
8.2.5 To resolve that all original documents relating to the ISRC are to be held by the Clerk
8.3 To receive updates on Rights of Way and approve any actions.
8.4 To receive updates on Highways matters including Cadwell Bridge.
8.5 To receive an update on the building waste by the allotments at Little Park.
8.6 To receive updates on the electricity installation by UK Power Network; to approve the extra invoice for £2266.80 from UK Power Network for returning to carry out the work; to review quotes from energy companies for the ongoing contract and electricity meter and approve any actions.
8.7 To approve payment of costs for the Christmas tree lighting event on production of receipts; and to approve the grant application to County Councillor Barnard’s Locality Budget before the February deadline for new, plug-in Christmas lights for Christmas 2025.
8.8 To provide an update on the NHC Waste & Recycling plan regarding the removal of litter bins and approve any actions.
8.9 To consider and approve the costs for years 2 and 3 of the proposed contract extension with Mark Walker (GM) Ltd.
8.10 To approve the invoices from Evolution Tree Works: £48.00 for work to clear ivy in Claymore Lane; £576.00 for tree removal and pruning at the allotments; and £1200.00 for work to remove and cut back trees at Lower Green, Christmas Common and the Ickleford Sports and Recreation Club. To receive updates on the tree work at the allotments and approve any actions.
